Preparation
  1. In a skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef for about 5–7 minutes, breaking it up with a spatula.
  2. Drain excess fat if desired, but a little keeps the flavor alive.
  3. Sprinkle in garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper. Mix well to coat the beef.
  4. Drizzle hot honey and soy sauce over the beef. Stir until everything is well combined and heated through.
  5. Serve over a bed of cooked rice or grains, and garnish with fresh herbs if desired.

Notes

Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. You can also freeze the ground beef mixture for up to 3 months. Add more veggies or use substitutes like ground turkey for variations.
