- In a skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef for about 5–7 minutes, breaking it up with a spatula.
- Drain excess fat if desired, but a little keeps the flavor alive.
- Sprinkle in garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper. Mix well to coat the beef.
- Drizzle hot honey and soy sauce over the beef. Stir until everything is well combined and heated through.
- Serve over a bed of cooked rice or grains, and garnish with fresh herbs if desired.
Notes
Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. You can also freeze the ground beef mixture for up to 3 months. Add more veggies or use substitutes like ground turkey for variations.
