Ingredients

Dough Ingredients
  • 1 cup gluten-free flour Ensure it contains xanthan gum for the best texture.
  • 1/2 cup almond milk Any non-dairy milk can be used as a substitute.
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder Optional, but highly recommended for extra flavor.

Method

Preparation
  1. In a bowl, mix together gluten-free flour, baking powder, salt, and garlic powder.
  2. Add in the almond milk and olive oil to your dry ingredients, combining them well.
  3. Knead the mixture until you form a smooth dough.
  4. Divide the dough into small balls, about the size of a golf ball.
  5. Roll each ball into a flat, round shape.
Cooking
  1. Heat a skillet over medium heat—you want it hot but not too sizzling!
  2. Cook each naan for 2-3 minutes on each side until golden brown.
Serving
  1. Serve warm and enjoy with dips or your favorite curry!

Notes

Wrap leftovers tightly in foil or a zip-top bag to keep them soft. Reheat on a skillet for best results.
