Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large bowl, combine the flour, sugar, baking soda, baking powder, cinnamon, and salt.
- Add the applesauce, oil, and vanilla extract to the dry ingredients. Mix well.
- Fold in the chopped apples.
- Pour the batter into a greased cake pan.
- Bake for 35-40 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Let it cool before serving.
Notes
Serve warm with a dollop of vegan whipped cream or a scoop of dairy-free ice cream. Store in the fridge for 4-5 days or freeze for up to 3 months.
