Marination
- Marinate chicken pieces in buttermilk for at least 2 hours or overnight.

- Combine flour, cornstarch, salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and paprika in a bowl.
- Coat the marinated chicken pieces in the flour mixture.
Cooking
- Heat oil in a deep fryer or large skillet to 350°F (175°C).
- Fry the chicken in batches until golden brown and cooked through, about 15-18 minutes.
- Drain on paper towels and serve hot with your favorite creamy sauce.
Notes
For extra crunch, double-dip the chicken in the flour mixture. Adjust the spice level by adding hot sauce to the buttermilk.
