Preparation
- In a mixing bowl, combine the gluten free flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, and cinnamon.
- In another bowl, whisk together the milk, eggs, and melted butter.
- Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and mix until well combined.
Frying
- Heat vegetable oil in a deep frying pan over medium heat.
- Using a piping bag or a spoon, carefully drop spoonfuls of the dough into the hot oil.
- Fry until golden brown on both sides, about 2-3 minutes.
- Remove the doughnuts from the oil and place them on a paper towel to drain excess oil.
- While still warm, toss the doughnuts in a mixture of cinnamon and sugar or your favorite topping.
Notes
Serve warm with coffee or hot cocoa. You can store in the fridge for about 2-3 days or freeze for up to a month. Reheat in the microwave or oven to maintain the crispy exterior.
