Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Cook the sausage in a skillet over medium heat until browned and cooked through. Drain excess fat.
- In a bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, dry mustard, salt, and pepper until well blended.
- In a greased 9x13-inch casserole dish, layer the cooked sausage, then spread the frozen tater tots evenly on top.
- Pour the egg mixture over everything and sprinkle the cheddar cheese on top.
Cooking
- Bake for 45–50 minutes, or until the eggs are set and the tots are golden brown.
- Let it cool slightly before slicing into squares.
Notes
Serve warm, garnished with fresh herbs and paired with a fresh fruit bowl for added color. Optionally drizzle with hot sauce for extra flavor. Leftovers can be stored tightly covered in the refrigerator for up to 3-4 days or frozen for up to a month.
