  • 1/2 cup sugar

  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat the air fryer to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, mix together flour, baking powder, cinnamon, nutmeg, salt, and sugar.
  3. In another bowl, whisk together milk, egg, and vanilla extract.
  4. Gradually add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients; mix until just combined.
  5. Fold in the diced apples.
  6. Spray the air fryer basket with cooking spray.
  7. Drop spoonfuls of the batter into the basket, ensuring not to overcrowd.
Cooking
  1. Cook for 10-12 minutes or until golden brown, flipping halfway through if needed.
  2. Remove from the air fryer and let cool slightly.
  3. Dust with powdered sugar before serving.

Store leftovers in the fridge for up to 3 days or freeze for later. Reheat in the air fryer to maintain the crunch.
