  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon salt

  • 3/4 cup cold buttermilk Don't skimp; it adds moisture.
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 1 large egg (beaten)

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. Line your baking sheet with parchment paper.
  3. In a large bowl, whisk together the gluten-free flour blend, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
  4. Cut cold butter cubes into the flour mixture using a pastry cutter until it resembles coarse crumbs.
  5. In a separate bowl, mix together the buttermilk, honey, and beaten egg.
  6. Pour the wet mixture into the dry ingredients and stir gently until just combined.
  7. Place the dough on a floured surface and pat it to 1-inch thickness.
  8. Cut biscuits using a round cutter and place them on the prepared baking sheet.
