Ingredients
  

For the Marinade
  • 1/3 cup tahini
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • to taste salt and pepper
For the Chicken
  • 4 pieces chicken thighs You can substitute with chicken breasts if preferred.
  • optional Fresh herbs for garnish Great way to add flavor and color.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix tahini, lemon juice, minced garlic, olive oil, salt, and pepper to create a marinade.
  3. Coat the chicken thighs in the tahini marinade, cover, and let it marinate for at least 30 minutes.
Cooking
  1. Place the marinated chicken on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  2. Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and golden brown.
  3. Serve warm, garnished with fresh herbs if desired, alongside grains or a salad.

Notes

For extra crispiness, flip the chicken halfway through baking. You can swap tahini for almond or sunflower butter if necessary.
