  • 1 packet taco seasoning
  • 1/2 cup cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup ranch dressing
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or Mexican blend)

  • to taste Chopped green onions (for garnish)
  • optional Sour cream (for serving)

Method
 

Cooking
  1. In a skillet, cook the ground beef over medium heat until browned. Drain any excess fat.
  2. Stir in the taco seasoning and prepare according to the package instructions.
Mixing
  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the cream cheese and ranch dressing until smooth.
  2. Add the cooked taco beef and shredded cheese to the bowl and mix well.
Assembly
  1. Scoop the mixture onto tortilla chips to create bites.
  2. Garnish with chopped green onions and serve with sour cream if desired.

Notes

Store leftovers in the fridge for 3-4 days in an airtight container. Reheat at 350°F for 10 minutes. Keep filling and chips separate to avoid sogginess. Options for vegetarian or a sweet twist with corn or avocado.
