  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 cup cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 1 package wonton wrappers
  • 1 packet taco seasoning
  • 1 can cooking spray for greasing the muffin tin

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a skillet, cook the ground beef over medium heat until browned, then drain the excess fat.
  3. Add the taco seasoning to the beef and mix according to the package instructions.
  4. Spray a muffin tin with cooking spray.
  5. Place a wonton wrapper in each muffin cup, pressing down to form a cup shape.
  6. Fill each cup with a spoonful of the seasoned beef and top with cheddar cheese.
Cooking
  1. Bake in the preheated oven for about 15 minutes or until the wonton wrappers are crispy and golden brown.
  2. Remove from the oven and let cool slightly.
  3. Serve with optional toppings like sour cream, salsa, lettuce, and tomatoes.

Notes

Taco Cups keep well; store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days or freeze for up to 3 months. Reheat in the microwave or oven for best results. For variations, try using buffalo chicken or different cheeses.
