  • 1/2 cup sweetened condensed milk
  • 2 cups powdered sugar
  • 2 cups shredded coconut Plus additional for rolling.
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup crushed nuts (optional) Choose your favorite or omit.

Preparation
  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the softened butter and sweetened condensed milk until smooth and creamy.
  2. Gradually add the powdered sugar, mixing until well incorporated.
  3. Stir in the shredded coconut, vanilla extract, and the crushed nuts if using.
  4. Roll the mixture into small balls and place them on a lined baking sheet.
  5. Pop them in the fridge for at least an hour to firm up.
  6. Once set, roll the snowballs in additional coconut or powdered sugar if desired before serving.

Notes

These snowballs can be stored in an airtight container in the fridge for about a week, or frozen for up to three months. For a lighter version, consider using light butter or nut butter. Don't skip the chilling step for the best texture!
