- In a mixing bowl, combine the softened butter and sweetened condensed milk until smooth and creamy.
- Gradually add the powdered sugar, mixing until well incorporated.
- Stir in the shredded coconut, vanilla extract, and the crushed nuts if using.
- Roll the mixture into small balls and place them on a lined baking sheet.
- Pop them in the fridge for at least an hour to firm up.
- Once set, roll the snowballs in additional coconut or powdered sugar if desired before serving.
Notes
These snowballs can be stored in an airtight container in the fridge for about a week, or frozen for up to three months. For a lighter version, consider using light butter or nut butter. Don't skip the chilling step for the best texture!
