  • 3-4 cloves Garlic Fresh minced garlic enhances flavor.
  • 1/4 cup Honey Creates a sticky glaze; can substitute with maple syrup.
  • 1/4 cup Low-Sodium Soy Sauce Use tamari for gluten-free.
  • 1 tbsp Rice Vinegar Apple cider vinegar works as a substitute.
  • 1 tsp Sesame Oil Adds a nutty depth; can omit for a lighter version.
  • to taste Red Pepper Flakes For extra heat; can use fresh chili or chili paste.
  • 2 stalks Green Onions Add freshness and crunch; chives are a good substitute.
  • 1 tbsp Neutral Oil (Canola or Avocado) Use for sautéing.

Method
 

Cooking
  1. In a large skillet, add your neutral oil over medium heat.
  2. Toss in minced garlic and toast it until fragrant (about 1 minute).
  3. Stir in your ground turkey, cooking until it’s browned through.
  4. Pour in honey, soy sauce, rice vinegar, and sesame oil. Stir until well combined.
  5. If you like a kick, sprinkle in red pepper flakes and mix well.
  6. Top with chopped green onions right before serving.

Notes

Great served over white rice or quinoa. Store leftovers in the fridge for up to 4 days or freeze for about 3 months. Reheat quickly in the microwave or on the stove.
