  • 1 lb deli meats (turkey, ham, roast beef, etc.) Choose a combination of your favorite deli meats.
  • 1 lb cheese (provolone, American, etc.) Use your preferred type of cheese.
  • Lettuce Use crisp lettuce as a base.
  • Tomatoes Fresh slices of tomatoes for added flavor.
  • Onions Sliced onions, red or yellow to taste.
  • Peppers (green, jalapeƱos, etc.) Add your favorite peppers for crunch.
Dressings and Seasonings
  • Olive oil For drizzling.
  • Vinegar To add tanginess.
  • Oregano For a herbaceous note.
  • Salt and pepper To taste.
  • Sub sauce (optional) Use to enhance flavor.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. In a large bowl, layer the lettuce at the bottom.
  2. Add the sliced deli meats evenly over the lettuce.
  3. Place slices of cheese on top of the meats.
  4. Top with sliced tomatoes, onions, and peppers.
  5. Drizzle with olive oil, vinegar, and sprinkle with oregano, salt, and pepper to taste.
  6. If desired, add sub sauce to enhance flavor.
  7. Serve immediately with a fork and enjoy your sub bowl!
