Ingredients

Main ingredients
  • 200 g noodles Any type of noodles can be used.
  • 300 g chicken breast, sliced Use boneless chicken breasts for easier cooking.
  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce For a gluten-free option, use tamari.
  • 2 tablespoons honey Can be substituted with maple syrup for vegan variation.
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced Fresh garlic gives the best flavor.
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil Used for sautéing.
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Chopped green onions for garnish Adds color and freshness.

Method

Cooking
  1. Cook the noodles according to the package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a large pan, heat vegetable oil over medium heat.
  3. Add the minced garlic and sauté for 1 minute until fragrant.
  4. Add the sliced chicken to the pan and season with salt and pepper. Cook until the chicken is no longer pink, about 5-7 minutes.
  5. In a small bowl, mix the soy sauce and honey. Pour this sauce over the chicken and stir to coat.
  6. Add the cooked noodles to the pan and toss everything together until well combined and heated through.
  7. Serve hot, garnished with chopped green onions.

Notes

For extra flavor, don't rush the garlic toasting. Try adding a dash of crushed red pepper for some heat. Store leftovers in an airtight container for 3-4 days.
