Sticky Garlic Chicken Noodles

Ingredients
  

Main ingredients
  • 1 lb Chicken breast pieces
  • 8 oz Noodles (egg or rice noodles)
  • 4 cloves Garlic (minced)
  • 1/4 cup Soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp Honey or sugar Adjust based on preference.
  • 2 tbsp Vegetable oil For sautéing.
  • 2 stalks Green onions (for garnish)
  • to taste Salt and pepper

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Cook the noodles according to the package instructions, then drain and set aside.
  2. In a large pan, heat vegetable oil over medium heat.
  3. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
  4. Toss in the chicken pieces and cook until browned and cooked through.
Cooking
  1. In a small bowl, mix soy sauce and honey (or sugar); pour over the chicken and stir to coat.
  2. Add the cooked noodles to the pan and toss everything together, cooking for an additional 2-3 minutes.
  3. Season with salt and pepper to taste, garnish with green onions, and serve hot.

Notes

For added crunch, toss in sautéed bell peppers or snap peas. Store leftovers in the fridge for 3-4 days or freeze for up to 2 months.
