Ingredients
  

For the sauce
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 3 tbsp honey
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced Toast for enhanced flavor
  • 1 tsp grated ginger
  • 1/2 tsp red chili flakes Optional
Main ingredients
  • 1 lb chicken breast or thighs, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 2 tbsp cornstarch For coating chicken
  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 8 oz noodles (rice noodles or egg noodles)
  • 2 stalks green onions, chopped For garnish
  • 1 tsp sesame seeds Optional for garnish

Method
 

Preparation
  1. In a bowl, mix soy sauce, honey, minced garlic, grated ginger, and red chili flakes (if using) to form a flavorful sauce.
  2. Toss chicken pieces with cornstarch until coated.
Cooking
  1. Warm vegetable oil in a skillet over medium-high heat; add the chicken and cook for 6-8 minutes until golden brown.
  2. Pour the sauce over the chicken and simmer for 2-3 minutes until thickened.
  3. Cook the noodles according to package instructions, drain, and set aside.
  4. Add the noodles to the skillet and toss well to combine everything.
Serving
  1. Top with chopped green onions and sesame seeds before serving.

Notes

Store leftovers in the fridge for about 3-4 days or freeze for up to 3 months. Add a splash of water when reheating to restore the sauce.
