  • 1 cup heavy cream Can adjust creaminess by substituting with yogurt.
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder Important for flavor.
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder Important for flavor.
  • to taste Salt and pepper

Method
 

Preparation
  1. In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat.
  2. Season chicken breasts with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder.
  3. Add chicken to the skillet and cook until browned on both sides and cooked through, about 6-8 minutes per side.
  4. Remove chicken and set aside.
Cooking
  1. In the same skillet, add chopped jalapenos and sauté until softened.
  2. Pour in chicken broth and heavy cream, stirring to combine.
  3. Bring to a simmer and let the sauce thicken slightly.
  4. Return chicken to the skillet and coat with the sauce.
Serving
  1. Serve over rice or with your favorite side.

Notes

For extra flavor, add chopped cilantro on top. Store leftovers in an airtight container for 3-4 days in the fridge or freeze for up to 2 months.
