Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Cook the spaghetti according to the package instructions, then drain and set aside.
- In a pot, heat the spaghetti sauce and add the vegetables, cooking until they're tender.
- Combine the cooked spaghetti with the sauce mixture.
- Cut the garlic bread loaf in half and hollow out the insides to create bowls.
Assembly and Baking
- Fill each garlic bread bowl with the spaghetti mixture.
- Top with shredded mozzarella cheese.
- Place the filled bowls on a baking sheet and bake for 10-15 minutes or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Garnish with fresh basil if desired and serve warm.
Notes
These bowls keep well for about 3-4 days in the fridge. To reheat, pop them back in the oven for a few minutes. You can also prepare the spaghetti mixture a day in advance and bake when ready to serve. Add a pinch of red pepper flakes for spice. For a vegan version, use plant-based cheese and sauce.
