Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Lightly grease a 9x13-inch baking dish.
- Lay the chicken breasts in the dish.
Mixing Sauce
- In a bowl, mix together the sour cream, 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese, cornstarch, oregano, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
Baking
- Top each chicken breast with a slice of mozzarella cheese.
- Spread the sour cream mixture over the chicken and sprinkle with the remaining Parmesan cheese.
- Bake for about 60 minutes, until the chicken is cooked through and the cheese is golden.
- Allow to rest for a moment before serving.
Notes
Brining the chicken in salted water for a couple of hours can make it incredibly juicy. For a Mediterranean twist, add diced sun-dried tomatoes and spinach to the mixture.
