Preparation
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Slice the baguette into thin slices and arrange them on a baking sheet.
- Toast in the oven for about 10 minutes or until golden and crispy.
Assembly
- Spread a layer of cream cheese on each toasted slice.
- Top with smoked salmon, a few capers, and a sprinkle of dill or chives.
- Garnish with a small slice of lemon.
Notes
Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for about 1 day, but the crostini will lose their crunch.
