Preparation
- Preheat a skillet over medium-high heat.
- Form the ground beef into loose balls and smash them onto the skillet with a spatula.
- Season with salt and pepper.
- Cook for 2-3 minutes until crispy, then flip and add cheese on top to melt.
- Warm the taco shells in another skillet or the microwave.
- Assemble tacos with smashed burgers, lettuce, tomato, onion, pickles, ketchup, and mustard.
- Serve immediately and enjoy!
Notes
Don’t overwork the beef! Form loose balls for the perfect smash. Experiment with toppings and spices for added flavor. Double up the taco shells for extra support with liquid toppings.
