Preparation
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a baking pan.
- Prepare the brownie mix according to package instructions, mixing in the water, egg, and melted butter.
- Spread half of the brownie batter in the bottom of the pan.
- Layer the cookie dough right over the brownie batter.
- Sprinkle chocolate chips on top of the cookie dough layer.
- Pour the remaining brownie batter over everything.
Baking
- Bake for 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Let it cool before cutting into squares.
Notes
Serve warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to a week or freeze for about three months.
