  • 1/2 cup Honey Consider using different types of honey for unique flavors.
  • 1/4 cup Soy sauce Use gluten-free soy sauce or tamari for a gluten-free version.
  • 3 cloves Garlic, minced Toasting the garlic enhances the flavor.
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon Black pepper
For Serving
  • optional Mashed potatoes, rice, or salad Choose one or more for serving.

Preparation
  1. In a slow cooker, combine honey, soy sauce, minced garlic, salt, and pepper.
  2. Add the pork chops and coat them well with the sauce.
  3. Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or until the pork is tender and cooked through.
  4. Serve over mashed potatoes, rice, or on a fresh salad.

Notes

Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days. For longer storage, freeze for about 3 months. Reheat in the microwave or stovetop when ready to serve. For a thicker sauce, remove pork after cooking and simmer the sauce to reduce it.
