  • 8 oz noodles (any kind you prefer)
Sauce Ingredients
  • 3 tablespoon shallot, minced
  • 2 tablespoon chili oil Adjust based on desired spice level
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced Cook carefully to avoid burning
  • 1 stalk green onion, chopped For garnish
  • to taste salt

Method
 

Cooking Noodles
  1. Cook the noodles according to the package instructions. Drain and set aside.
Making the Sauce
  1. In a pan, heat the chili oil over medium heat.
  2. Add the minced shallots and garlic to the pan. Cook until they turn golden brown.
  3. Remove the pan from heat and mix in the soy sauce and sesame oil.
Combining Ingredients
  1. Toss the cooked noodles into the pan. Stir to coat the noodles evenly with the shallot chili oil mixture.
  2. Season with salt to taste.
Serving
  1. Serve the noodles hot and sprinkle with chopped green onions.

Notes

These noodles are best served warm. You can enjoy them on their own or pair them with protein, like chicken or tofu, for a complete meal. Top with extra green onions or sesame seeds for added flavor and texture. Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
