Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a loaf pan.
- In a large bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, and salt. Mix well!
- In another bowl, beat together the melted butter, milk, and egg until smooth.
- Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir. Don’t over-mix; a few lumps are okay!
- Fold in the shredded cheese and fresh herbs gently to ensure even distribution.
- Transfer the batter into the greased loaf pan and smooth the top.
Baking
- Bake for 30-35 minutes until golden brown and a toothpick comes out clean.
- Let it cool for a few minutes before slicing. Enjoy!
Notes
Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days. For longer storage, refrigerate for up to a week or freeze for up to 3 months. To reheat, pop it in the oven at 350°F (175°C) for about 10-15 minutes until warm.
