  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese Feel free to adjust the cheese type for a unique twist.
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice (optional) Drizzle for additional flavor.

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Wash and trim the ends of the asparagus.
  3. In a mixing bowl, toss the asparagus with olive oil, garlic powder, salt, and pepper until evenly coated.
  4. Arrange the asparagus in a single layer on a baking sheet.
  5. Sprinkle the grated Parmesan cheese over the asparagus.
Cooking
  1. Roast in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until asparagus is tender and slightly crispy.
  2. Drizzle with lemon juice before serving, if desired.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days. Reheat in the oven for best results. To make it vegan, swap out the Parmesan for nutritional yeast.
