Ingredients
  

Sliders Base
  • 12 pieces Hawaiian rolls
Filling
  • 1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • 1/2 cup pepperoni slices
  • 1/2 cup pizza sauce
  • 1/4 cup green bell pepper, chopped
  • 1/4 cup onion, chopped
Topping
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil (for brushing)
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Slice the Hawaiian rolls in half to create top and bottom halves.
  3. On the bottom half of the rolls, layer mozzarella cheese, pepperoni, pizza sauce, green bell pepper, and onion.
  4. Place the top half of the rolls back on.
  5. Brush the tops with olive oil and sprinkle with Italian seasoning.
Baking
  1. Place in the oven and bake for 10-15 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and the tops are golden.
  2. Remove from the oven, slice, and serve warm.

Notes

Tips: Swap the cheese for pepper jack for a spicy twist, add mushrooms or olives for extra flavor, and consider using whole wheat rolls for more fiber. These sliders can be made ahead and stored in the fridge for about 3 days or frozen for up to 2 months.
