For the glaze
  • 1 cup teriyaki sauce
  • 1/2 cup pineapple juice
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon ginger, minced
  • 1 teaspoon garlic, minced
For the wings
  • 2 lbs chicken wings
  • sesame seeds (for garnish)
  • green onions (for garnish)

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix together teriyaki sauce, pineapple juice, brown sugar, soy sauce, ginger, and garlic to create the glaze.
  3. Toss the chicken wings in the glaze until fully coated and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
Cooking
  1. Bake for 25-30 minutes, turning halfway, until the wings are crispy and caramelized.
  2. Garnish with sesame seeds and chopped green onions before serving.

Notes

Marinate wings for a few hours for more flavor. To achieve extra crispiness, broil for the last few minutes. Adjust sweetness by varying the amount of brown sugar.
