For the Wings
  • 2 pounds chicken wings
For the Glaze
  • 1 cup pineapple juice Can substitute with apple or mango juice.
  • 1/2 cup cowboy candy (candied jalapeños) Add more for extra spice.
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced Toasting the garlic adds flavor.
  • Salt and pepper to taste
For Garnish
  • Green onions, sliced Optional for garnish.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix together the pineapple juice, cowboy candy, honey, soy sauce, minced garlic, salt, and pepper to create the glaze.
  3. Place the chicken wings in a large bowl and pour the glaze over them, ensuring they are well coated.
  4. Arrange the wings in a single layer on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
Cooking
  1. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, turning halfway through, until wings are golden and crispy.
  2. Remove from the oven and toss in any remaining glaze.
  3. Serve hot, garnished with sliced green onions if desired.

Notes

Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days or frozen for about 3 months. Reheat in the oven or air fryer for best results.
