Preparation
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
 - Cook the sausage in a skillet until browned, then drain excess fat.
 - In a large bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, dry mustard, salt, and pepper.
 - Layer bread cubes in a greased baking dish.
 - Add the cooked sausage on top, followed by the cheese and herbs.
 - Pour the egg mixture evenly over the top.
 - Cover and refrigerate overnight.
 
Baking
- In the morning, uncover and bake for 45-55 minutes until set and golden.
 - Let it cool slightly before serving.
 
Notes
Slice into squares and serve warm, garnished with fresh herbs. Store leftovers in the fridge for 3-4 days or freeze up to 3 months. Reheat in the microwave or oven.
