Ingredients

Pasta Ingredients
  • 8 oz pasta (your choice)
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 cups milk can be replaced with plant-based milk for a vegan version
  • 1 cup Parmesan cheese, grated can be replaced with nutritional yeast for a vegan option
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Chopped parsley for garnish (optional)

Method

Preparation
  1. In a large pot, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
  2. Add the pasta and milk, then bring to a simmer.
  3. Stir occasionally and cook until the pasta is tender and the liquid has thickened, about 10-12 minutes.
  4. Remove from heat and stir in the Parmesan cheese until melted and creamy.
  5. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  6. Serve warm, garnished with chopped parsley if desired.

Notes

For extra nutrients, consider adding veggies like spinach or cherry tomatoes. This dish can be stored in the fridge for about 3 days in an airtight container. To reheat, add a splash of milk to restore creaminess.
