Preparation
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a large bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, parsley, egg, garlic, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.
- Take a portion of the mixture and flatten it in your hand, about the size of a golf ball.
- Place a cube of mozzarella in the center and form the mixture around it to create a meatball.
- Transfer the meatballs onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
Cooking
- Bake for 20-25 minutes or until cooked through.
Serving
- Serve with marinara sauce for dipping.
Notes
For best results, don't overmix the meat and use fresh mozzarella. Experiment with different cheeses for added flavor.
