  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • ½ cup barbecue sauce
  • 1 cup crispy fried onions (store-bought)

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Season chicken breasts with salt, pepper, and optional garlic powder or smoked paprika.
  3. Place the seasoned chicken in a greased baking dish.
  4. Brush each breast with BBQ sauce and drizzle ranch dressing over the top.
  5. Sprinkle the shredded cheddar evenly across the chicken.
Cooking
  1. Bake uncovered for 25–30 minutes, or until the chicken reaches 165°F internally and the cheese is bubbly.
  2. Remove from the oven and top with crispy fried onions.
  3. Let rest for 3–5 minutes before serving.

Notes

For a pop of color, serve with a vibrant side salad or over fluffy rice. This chicken can be stored in the fridge for 3 to 4 days and frozen for up to 2 months. Reheat in the oven or microwave.
