- Sprinkle the shredded cheddar evenly across the chicken.
Cooking
- Bake uncovered for 25–30 minutes, or until the chicken reaches 165°F internally and the cheese is bubbly.
- Remove from the oven and top with crispy fried onions.
- Let rest for 3–5 minutes before serving.
