- In a mixing bowl, combine softened cream cheese, shredded cheddar cheese, crumbled bacon, green onions, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.
- Use your hands to form the mixture into small balls, about 1 inch in diameter.
- If desired, roll the cheese balls in chopped nuts or seeds to coat.
- Place the cheese balls on a serving platter and refrigerate for about 30 minutes to firm up.
- Serve chilled as appetizers or snacks.
Notes
These cheese balls can be made in advance and stored in the fridge for up to 5 days or frozen for up to a month. To thaw, place in the fridge overnight.
