  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/4 cup ranch seasoning mix Store-bought or homemade
Coating
  • 1/2 cup cooked bacon, crumbled Use crisp bacon for best flavor
  • 2 tablespoons fresh herbs, chopped E.g., chives or parsley

Preparation
  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, shredded cheddar cheese, and ranch seasoning mix.
  2. Mix until well blended.
  3. Form the mixture into small balls, about 1 inch in diameter.
  4. Roll each ball in the crumbled bacon and fresh herbs until well-coated.
  5. Place the cheeseballs on a serving plate and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes before serving.

Notes

These cheeseballs keep well in the fridge for about 3-4 days in an airtight container. They can also be frozen for up to a month. Pro tip: Make them a day ahead to allow flavors to meld.
