Preparation
- If chicken breasts are too thick, butterfly or gently pound them with a meat mallet to ensure even cooking.
- In a small bowl, mix together garlic powder, onion powder, dried thyme, dried rosemary, paprika, salt, and black pepper.
- Rub the seasoning mixture over the chicken breasts evenly on both sides.
Cooking
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Once hot, add the seasoned chicken breasts.
- Cook for about 4-5 minutes per side until golden brown.
- Reduce heat to low and add chicken broth and butter to the skillet.
- Cover and let the chicken simmer for 10-12 minutes.
- Remove chicken from the skillet and let it rest for a few minutes before serving.
Notes
For best results, use fresh herbs. Allow chicken to rest before slicing to retain juices.
