Preparation
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, cream together the softened butter and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the vanilla extract.
Mixing Ingredients
  1. In another bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, salt, lavender, and lemon zest.
  2. Gradually mix the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients until fully combined.
Baking
