Ingredients

  • 1 lb Lamb slices You can also use ground lamb.
  • 2 cups Fresh veggies (like lettuce, tomatoes, and cucumbers) Chop the veggies into bite-sized pieces.
  • 2 cups Fluffy rice (white or brown) Cook according to package instructions.
  • 1 cup Creamy sauce (like tzatziki or yogurt sauce) Feel free to experiment with different sauces.
Seasoning & Oil
  • 1 tbsp Olive oil For cooking the lamb.
  • to taste Salt and pepper Adjust according to preference.
  • 1 tbsp Spices (like garlic powder, cumin, and paprika) Add according to taste.

Method
 

Cooking the Rice
  1. Cook the rice according to package instructions.
Preparing the Lamb
  1. Season the lamb slices with salt, pepper, and your choice of spices.
  2. In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat, add the lamb slices and cook until browned and cooked through.
Assembling the Bowls
  1. Prepare the veggies by chopping them into bite-sized pieces.
  2. In a bowl, layer rice, lamb, fresh veggies, and drizzle with your creamy sauce.

Notes

For best results, prep veggies while the rice cooks, and don't skip searing the lamb for added flavor. Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days.
