Preparation
- In a bowl, mix together soy sauce, garlic, ginger, honey or sugar, sesame oil, and a dash of salt and pepper to create the marinade.
- Place the chicken breasts in a resealable plastic bag or shallow dish and pour the marinade over them. Marinate in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes, or up to 4 hours for more flavor.
Cooking
- Preheat the grill or oven to 375°F (190°C).
- For grilling, cook the chicken for about 6-7 minutes on each side, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
- For baking, place the chicken on a baking sheet and cook for about 20-25 minutes.
Serving
- Serve the grilled or baked chicken with steamed rice and vegetables.
Notes
Store leftovers in the fridge for up to 4 days in an airtight container, or freeze for up to 3 months. Thaw in the fridge overnight before reheating. Warm in the oven or a skillet on low heat to keep juicy.
