Ingredients
  

For the Meatballs
  • 1 lb ground beef Use leaner beef if preferred, but not too lean to maintain flavor.
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese More Parmesan can be added for extra flavor.
  • 1/4 cup almond flour A sprinkle more can be added if the mixture is too wet.
  • 1 large egg
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced Toasting the garlic enhances flavor.
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon dried basil
  • Salt and pepper to taste The more seasoning, the better!
For the Sauce
  • 2 cups marinara sauce Heat the sauce while the meatballs are baking.

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine ground beef, Parmesan cheese, almond flour, egg, garlic, oregano, basil, salt, and pepper.
  3. Mix well until all ingredients are combined.
  4. Form the mixture into meatballs and place them on a baking sheet.
Cooking
  1. Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes or until cooked through.
  2. While the meatballs are baking, heat the marinara sauce in a saucepan.
  3. Once the meatballs are done, serve them with marinara sauce on top.

Notes

These meatballs can be stored in the fridge for about 3–4 days in an airtight container. For meal prep, freeze them for up to 3 months and reheat in the oven or microwave.
