  • 1 teaspoon Ginger (optional) Adds additional flavor if desired.

  • 2 tablespoons Cornstarch To thicken the sauce, if necessary.

Preparation
  1. In a bowl, mix together honey, soy sauce, minced garlic, and ginger (if using).
  2. Season your chicken with a sprinkle of salt and pepper.
Cooking
  1. Heat oil in a pan over medium heat and cook the chicken until it turns golden brown.
  2. Pour the honey mixture over the chicken and let it simmer until the sauce thickens.
  3. If the sauce needs a little boost, mix some cornstarch with a little water to make a slurry and add it to the sauce for thickness.

Notes

Leftovers can be stored in the fridge for 3-4 days. It can also be frozen; thaw overnight before reheating. For added crunch, sprinkle toasted sesame seeds before serving. Consider adding bell peppers or broccoli for extra nutrition.
