Preparation
- In a bowl, mix together honey, soy sauce, and sesame oil. Set aside.
- In another bowl, toss chicken pieces with cornstarch until well coated.
Cooking
- Heat vegetable oil in a pan over medium-high heat.
- Add chicken and cook until browned and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes.
- Pour the honey mixture over the chicken and stir to coat.
- Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until the sauce thickens and becomes sticky.
- Sprinkle with sesame seeds and garnish with green onions.
- Serve hot with rice or steamed vegetables.
Notes
You can substitute chicken with tofu or shrimp. Add red pepper flakes for a little heat. Leftovers can be stored in the fridge for 3-4 days or frozen for up to 3 months.
