Preparation
- In a bowl, combine ground beef, bread crumbs, chopped onion, egg, salt, and pepper. Mix and form into patties.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Cook the patties until browned on both sides. Remove and set aside.
Cooking
- In the same skillet, add sliced mushrooms and onions. Sauté until tender.
- Stir in flour, cooking for 1 minute.
- Gradually add beef broth and Worcestershire sauce, stirring until thickened.
- Return patties to the skillet, cover, and simmer for 10-15 minutes.
Serving
- Serve with mashed potatoes or noodles.
Notes
Leftovers can be stored in the fridge for up to 3-4 days in an airtight container or frozen for up to 3 months. Reheat with a splash of beef broth to maintain creaminess.
