  • 1 pound chicken breast strips
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs Panko breadcrumbs for extra crunch can be used
  • 1/2 cup flour Can swap with gluten-free flour for a gluten-free version
  • 2 large eggs Beaten
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • to taste salt and pepper
  • spray or drizzle Cooking spray or oil

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Set up a breading station: Place flour in one bowl, beaten eggs in another, and breadcrumbs mixed with garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper in a third.
  3. Dip each chicken strip first in the flour, then in the egg, and finally coat with the breadcrumbs.
  4. Arrange the coated chicken strips on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, and spray with cooking spray or lightly drizzle with oil.
  5. Bake for 15-20 minutes or until the chicken is cooked through and the coating is golden brown.
Serving
  1. Serve warm, enjoy with a vibrant salad or sweet potato fries, and pair with honey mustard or BBQ sauce.

Notes

For extra crunch, consider double breading. Store leftovers in the fridge for 3-4 days or freeze for up to 3 months. Reheat in the oven to maintain crispiness.
