  • 2 pieces bell peppers (red and green), sliced For a colorful presentation.

  • 2 tablespoons olive oil For cooking.
  • 1 tablespoon fajita seasoning Store bought or homemade.
  • to taste Salt and pepper Adjust based on preference.
For Serving
  • 1 cup Lettuce or cauliflower rice For the base of the bowl.
  • 1 lime wedges For serving.
  • Fresh cilantro For garnish.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
  2. Season the steak with fajita seasoning, salt, and pepper.
  3. Cook the steak for about 5-7 minutes, or until desired doneness is reached. Remove from skillet and let rest.
  4. In the same skillet, add sliced bell peppers and onion, cooking for 4-5 minutes until softened.
  5. Slice the steak into strips.
Assembly
  1. In a bowl, layer lettuce or cauliflower rice, top with sliced steak, sautéed peppers, and onions.
  2. Garnish with fresh cilantro and serve with lime wedges.

Notes

This bowl keeps well in the fridge for about 3-4 days. To reheat, avoid overcooking the steak to maintain tenderness. Marinating the steak adds extra flavor.
