Preparation
- In a bowl, mix together the sesame oil, soy sauce, honey, minced garlic, and grated ginger until well combined.
- Add the chicken pieces to the bowl and coat each piece well with the marinade. Allow to marinate for a minimum of 15 minutes, or up to 2 hours.
Cooking
- Heat a pan over medium heat and add the marinated chicken, cooking for about 5-7 minutes until golden brown and cooked through.
- Once cooked, sprinkle sesame seeds over the chicken and season with salt and pepper according to your taste.
Garnishing
- Add sliced green onions right before serving.
- Serve the dish hot, ideally with jasmine rice, steamed vegetables, or a fresh salad.
Notes
For a quick marinade, a minimum of 15 minutes is recommended, but longer marination yields better flavor. Optionally, add vegetables like bell peppers or broccoli during cooking for extra nutrition. Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
