High Protein Pizza Hot Pockets

Ingredients
  

Dough Ingredients
  • 410 g low-fat Greek yogurt
  • 400 g all-purpose flour
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • ½ tsp garlic powder
  • ½ tsp salt
Filling Ingredients
  • 120 g pizza sauce 15g per pocket
  • 160 g low-fat cheese 20g per pocket

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking tray with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, combine flour, baking powder, Italian seasoning, garlic powder, and salt. Stir in the Greek yogurt until blended.
  3. Knead the mixture for 2–3 minutes until smooth.
  4. Divide the dough into 8 balls and roll each into a 6-inch oval.
  5. On half of each oval, add pizza sauce and cheese. Leave a ½-inch border for sealing.
  6. Fold the dough over and press the edges firmly with a fork. Dab a bit of water along the edges before folding for extra security!
Baking
  1. Bake for 18–20 minutes until golden brown. Let rest for 5 minutes before serving.

Notes

For best results, do not skip applying water to the edges to prevent bursting. Serve with salad or marinara for dipping.
