Method

Cooking the Protein
  1. In a skillet, brown the ground turkey or chicken with garlic powder and oregano. Drain excess fat and let it cool slightly.
Mixing the Filling
  1. In a bowl, mix the cooked meat, mozzarella, pepperoni, and marinara sauce.
Rolling the Tortillas
  1. Lay out your tortillas, spoon the filling into the center of each, fold sides in, and roll tightly like burritos.
Crisping the Rolls
  1. Brush your rolls with olive oil or egg wash to give them that golden crunch.
  2. For Air Fryer: Preheat to 375°F (190°C) and cook for 8-10 minutes, flipping halfway through.
  3. For Oven: Preheat to 400°F (200°C) and bake for 12-15 minutes until golden.
Serving
  1. Let them cool for just a minute before indulging. Serve with your favorite dipping sauce or some fresh herbs.

Notes

For leftovers, store the pizza rolls in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days. Freeze for up to a month. Reheat in the air fryer or oven until warm and crispy again. Experiment with different proteins and cheeses for variation.
