  3. Mix the Base Ingredients: In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs, cottage cheese, milk, salt, and black pepper until smooth.
  4. Add Additional Ingredients: Gently fold in the shredded cheese, crumbled bacon or ham, and chopped spinach.
  5. Fill the Muffin Cups: Pour the egg mixture into the prepared muffin cups, filling each about three-quarters full.
  6. Bake: Place the muffin tin in the preheated oven and bake for 18 to 22 minutes until set and lightly golden.
  7. Cool: Let the egg bites cool in the muffin tin for about 5 minutes before carefully removing them.
